The story of Stagelook Hair and Beauty is deeply intertwined with family legacy. Originally founded by Ms Faith’s mother-in-law, the salon has always been a family-run business. Ms Faith, who took over the reins in 2023, was driven by a desire to step out of her comfort zone and embrace new challenges. “I wanted to honour my mother-in-law’s legacy while bringing in fresh perspectives and innovations to the business,” she shares.

Ms Faith had to immerse herself in the world of hairdressing, completing a foundational course to understand the nuances of the business. —through observation and hands-on experience—enabled her to quickly adapt and excel.

Ms Faith’s primary objective for Stagelook is to increase revenue and expand the salon’s footprint. “Expansion is on the horizon, but our immediate focus is on enhancing our services and growing our customer base locally,” Ms Faith explains.

Community involvement is a cornerstone of Stagelook’s ethos. The salon regularly donates food to the elderly in Redhill and provides mooncakes during the Mooncake Festival. These initiatives reflect Ms Faith’s commitment to giving back to the community and fostering a sense of social responsibility within the company.

Ms Faith attributes much of the salon’s success to the unwavering support of her mother-in-law and the dedication of her experienced staff. “Having a supportive family and a skilled team is crucial. It’s their hard work and passion that drive the salon forward,” she notes. This support system has been instrumental in navigating the business through various phases of growth and development.
